Maybe I AM a Lady Finally!
Well I have a goal to finish a project a month. It can be anything – socks, sweaters, mittens – whatever. My goal for September was to finish my Lady February sweater. I cast off the final stitches on September 30 at about 8 pm! I wasn’t able to get any pictures though until Karen took some at snubs.
check out the buttons!
Yarn: Socks that Rock Heavyweight in Spinel
I only used 2.5 skeins of the 4 skeins that I purchased. I stopped knitting the lace at 19 inches and then did 1.5 for the garter rib. It grew about 2 inches in length and it is perfect now. The buttons are crystal one’s that I got from this great bead store a block away from work!
I can see knitting this sweater again at some point. You know, after I finish all my other projects *snort*
I have also started a “health” blog where I am documenting my quest for health – mental, physical and emotional. Mostly, because I want a dedicated place to post what I am doing. I read in Chapters a quote – Life is not about finding yourself, its about creating yourself – and that has become my new mantra!

The color is so much better than my original pictures. 4 of the 6 squares I have completed for Lizard Ridge.
Up next, stash enhancement from Freckle Face Fibers.
I know that they are similar. I have one other that I thought I had taken pictures of but obviously I didn’t. There was a reason for them being similar. I will spin them up to do some sort of shawl.
1 commentTMI Tuesday & stuff
It’s time for TMI Tuesday again. I don’t always have the chance to blog them but I always read what the questions are!
1. What is the strangest thing you have ever inserted or seen inserted (in a sexual manner) in person?
I honestly don’t know if I have seen anything weird in person. Lots on the internet etc though that have made me shudder.
2. Have you ever had sex anyone whose name started with a J?
Yes.
3. Have you ever been outside completely naked?
Yes.
4. Do you prefer music, tv, or other noise in the background when you have sex?
I really don’t care. If its on then its on. But I am more focussed on the sex part at the time.
5. Have you ever used ice for sexual purposes?
Yes.
Bonus: Have you ever been propositioned for group sex?
Yes.
Alright now that I’ve answered those questions, lets get on with the other stuff. I got a lightbox and it is set up in the upstairs yarn room. I have even taken pictures using it however, do you think that I would be downloading them? Even though I think about it at night? *grrr*
:Lizard Ridge is coming along greatish. I am done 6 of 24 squares. Thankfully the squares do not take that long to do up but I need to actually work on them outside of my drive time.
Lady Feb – Cast off the body and now on to the sleeves. Can I get it done before Sept 30?! we shall see.

At Christmas that is. I am off to Punta del Este
For 13 glorious days. House with a pool. A block away from the beach. A few km’s from the polo club and downtown. I’m rather excited. I did my passport stuff today!

Well the first good news is that my step-dad’s checkup went well (inoperable lung tumor). Its always stressful/worrisome when it comes time to the checkup but this is super news.
As for knitting – I am almost done square 3, am halfway done lady feb and am spinning a bit each week.
And here is some cuteness:

Knitting (I put this first in case you don’t want to read the personal content)
Lady February – I am now on the lace part of the sweater. The garter seemed to go on forever for some reason but the lace pattern is so easy to do and it is coming along quite nicely. Perhaps the garter felt like it went on forever because I had to rip it out and restart on US7’s rather than the US6’s I was using.
Wedding Blanket – (aka Lizard Ridge) is starting to come along. I am almost done my first block. If in September I can knit 1.25 squares a day I will have it done before October 1 and then have time to put it together. I know 1.25 blocks a day is not going to happen, but I think that I can do a block in 2-3 hours. So weekend knitting time is dedicated to that.
Car Knitting – I am currently working on a garter scarf. Basic. Easy. No Brainer.
Ravelympics – I finished two cowls. I had high hopes of doing more, but with it being summer and us always being at the Polo Field my knitting time was drastically reduced.
As for Spinning – I have a few one night stands lined up.
Since I will be watching the 90210 season premiere, I think that Brandon will be my choice for that night.
