3 days worth
First off, I took a bunch of pictures on the weekend. Posting, well that is something completely different. I spent the time working on mom’s sweater. Yes there is light at the end of the tunnel and I am loving how it is turning out. I should be onto the collar by tonight and then it is ALL smooth sailing.
Saturday
Oh how I love Lorna’s Laces. Make One got a huge shipment last week and this is one of the colors. It is calling my name. Calling me. Come forth Morgan. Buy me. But I didn’t. I haven’t finished mom’s sweater. So I was good. Kinda.
Sunday
But I kinda caved. Though I did purchase this beautiful yarn on store credit. It really is for a top down sweater for the class that I teach so I can show my students what they are doing. And did I mention store credit? So no real cash exchanged hands. That has to count for something right? (you really don’t need to answer that question).
Monday aka Today

This is Cathy. She is my friend. She makes me laugh. She makes me laugh lots. I like her lots. She makes work bearable (along with a few other very awesome people). Honestly, she doesn’t look like this all the time. She is usually really cute. This is her impersonation of the 1970s.

Hey Morgan,
If I were to shop your Koigu stash for some, oh, blues, with which to fashion my cousin’s prayer shawl would that give you credits towards that lovely Lorna’s?
Morgan, thank you for the sweet comment, it made me choke up. What you said brought me comfort though. Thank you! I am a new blog reader of yours now…
Morgan,
That is indeed some lovely Lorna’s. What is the yellow yarn?
I wanted to know if there is anything special I should put on your package when I send it, since I don’t want you to have to pay customs or anything like that. Please email me at swapperfriend at yahoo dot com and let me know any special “phrases” I should put on the customs forms. Thanks!
P.S. Cathy looks like she’s the perfect friend!
Oh no you didn’t!!
